West Coast 1: Takeoff, Description & She Naps

Jaime and I finally had a chance to plan a fun West Coast Trip. Unfortunately the west was burning with bad fires and we weren't able to attempt our original plan of Grand Canyon, Sequoia National Park, California Coast, Napa Valley, Lake Tahoe, Yellowstone and Mount Rushmore.

Some fog rolled in and we departed IFR (Instrument Flight Plan) from Chicago Aurora Airport on our way to the first planned fuel stop of Dalhart, Texas on our amended planned trip. When we depart our plan is Grand Canyon, LA to rent a car, drive the coast to Napa and then airline back to LA to fly home through Sedona, Arizona.
