Galaxy DX 55V Splatter Box (?) Project

Galaxy DX 55V is a nice AM/FM Mobile CB Radio, Basic features and a good receiver. The radio has already been "upgraded" at sometime in its life, however the radio could use a check up and some TLC. The original meter light was replaced with a 3mm white LED. I didn't like the look so I decided to replace it with a green LED only to discover some PC board damage from the OEM bulb. I got that problem taken care of and for a non OEM type replacement I think it turned out fine. Darrin likes his 55 and he sounds very good on the air. He is using a Turner +3 desk mic.
