Backgammon: 5x5 XG Training Exercise

Описание к видео Backgammon: 5x5 XG Training Exercise

A quick and easy backgammon training exercise that will help you improve your game rapidly. An idea I picked up from GM Tim Cross.

Instructions:
-Select 'New Unlimited Games' and 'Teaching Mode' - under 'Options'
-Play the first FIVE moves of five games out. After the five moves, resign by clicking on the white flag at the bottom of the screen
Set yourself an average PR to play under. If starting fresh, I would just play through without a target initially and then go from there.
Once finished check to see if you've met your target, and then look over the errors (in green) and blunders (in red) made
Save the mistakes to a database folder to revisit at a later day, to see patterns where you can focus on further to improve
Adjust your PR down or up and play again. Once you have played across 20+ sessions, you can look at your profile on XG to see your average across time

You can check out my other video on '12 Steps to Improvement' to see how to continue on the road to backgammon success:    • Backgammon: 12 Steps to Improvement

... and let me know how well you played in the comment section!

Good luck!
Dan
