Carly Rae Jepsen - Run Away With Me (The Dedicated Tour, Vancouver)

Sometimes you don't realize just how huge a party song is until you get into the right atmosphere. Here she had tons of fun with the song and incorporated the audience into it perfectly. This video also shows the downside that can occasionally happen being right at the front in what was generally a very good location, (at least for being close to her.) I understand why they have camera people there for portions of sets, for the local papers, sometimes for newscasts, and sometimes just for professional photo shoots, however, I wish they could design something where they aren't right in the way of the audience. I wasn't the only person with someone right in front of me for decent portions of the song, and regardless of whether the audience member is filming or not, it still detracts from the performance and can sometimes make people miss things. Luckily for the most part the video still turned out pretty decently I think and you can see her enjoyment and uplifting spirit, but it is an issue that I still felt I had to comment on. She was absolutely amazing as always however!
