In this 2nd edition of our Dime Machine series, we visit the first game of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's career. Then known as Lew Alcindor, he turned a new organization around in his rookie year by increasing their win total from the previous season by 29 games. The Milwaukee Bucks went from 27-55 in 1968-1969 to 56-26 in 1969-1970 led by Alcindor.

The opponent, the Detroit Pistons, failed to make the playoffs for the 2nd consecutive season.
