Описание к видео Bernie Williams on life after baseball, behind the scenes of ‘American Mariachi’ | Chat Box

On Chat Box, David Cruz talks with New York Yankees great Bernie Williams about life after baseball, and in particular, the importance of music and giving back. After losing his father to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in 2001, the four-time World Series champion is working with the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation to raise awareness with the "Tune in to Lung Health" program, which explores the connection between music and breathing for patients and caregivers affected by interstitial lung disease. Williams also breaks down the playoff chances for the Yankees and Mets.

Later, Cruz visits Two River Theatre in Red Bank for a behind-the-scenes look at their latest production, “American Mariachi,” which follows two cousins in the 1970s in their quest to start an all-female mariachi band.
