Having used the Duchess valve gear and tender chassis for the Royal Scot I had to do something with the loco chassis.
Looking at various locos what seemed applicable was the large Furness Railway baltic tank. The usual issue of driving wheel size applies as these are one foot too large but there is nothing I can do about it and therefore will make new deeper buffer beams to suit.

At the moment the trailing bogie is loose under the bunker and does need the mounting bracket reshaping as it is lifting the loco slightly.

At least it makes use of the loco chassis which will not have many uses due to its design.
