Can You Play VR Games on a Potato? - GeForce GTX 1650 VR Performance Review

Nvidia's GeForce GTX 1650, technically isn't on the list of VR supported GPU's, BUT... the GTX 1650 is currently one of the most widely used GPU's among gamers on Steam, with some 8 million people owning one. With the affordability of the Oculus (Meta) Quest 2 there are now more VR headsets in homes than ever before and one of the cool things about the Quest 2 is it can be connected to a PC via a Link cable (aka Quest Link) or even wirelessly via AirLink. I have to believe a significant number of Quest 2 owners out there have a PC with a GTX 1650 installed in it and are wondering if they can play PC VR games like Half Life Alyx, Lone Echo and others with their GTX 1650. In this video we explore the question, is PC VR gaming on the GTX 1650 is possible? Will it's 4GB of VRAM be a major limiting factor? Well buckle up. It's time to take a look and see.
