Selvan Dasaraj is a seasoned transportation industry professional with over three and a half decades of diverse leadership experience across express operations, business and vendor development, public affairs, and P&L management. As the Founder and CEO of TransportMitra Services, he demonstrated strong entrepreneurial acumen by building a company focused on the safety and well-being of truck drivers in India—training over 50,000 drivers, collaborating with industry bodies, and earning recognition for his contributions to driver welfare. His leadership at Mahindra Logistics as Vice President (Corporate Affairs & CSR) further showcased his ability to drive strategic change, coordinate with government authorities, influence policy, and implement impactful CSR initiatives such as village adoption and nationwide driver welfare programs.

Across earlier roles at Mahindra People Transport Solutions and UPS India, Selvan led national operations, implemented innovative employee transportation solutions, and represented the industry in key councils and committees. As a logistics consultant, he now leverages his deep expertise to optimise supply chains and solve operational challenges through a holistic, analytical approach. With multiple academic credentials—including a Master’s in Business Management and Bachelor’s degrees in Commerce, Communication and Journalism—along with awards such as Mahindra’s “Innovation Catalyst” and “Innovation Champion,” Selvan stands out as a visionary leader. His strategic mindset, communication strength, and consistent delivery of extraordinary results position him as a valuable asset for board-level roles across organisations.
