《About Kasagiji Temple》
"Miroku Magaibutsu" is the principal image of Kasagi-dera Temple, and a standing statue of Miroku Bodhisattva was carved on the 15m high wall. The figure that was carved into the rock has disappeared, but the halo that still remains reminds us of the past. A 9-meter Buddha carved into a 12-meter rock face. Because there were no buildings around it, it was protected from the flames of the Genkou War, and you can still see it today.
