What if civilizations elsewhere in the cosmos are watching us the way we watch cells under a microscope; fascinated, horrified, hopeful we learn humility before it’s too late?

Maybe the real prayer is not: “Give me what I want” but “Help me understand how to live in harmony with reality.”
