In Khmer weddings, there are many ceremonies held in a chronological order.  They show the historical roots related to the Buddhist era that existed a long time ago, according to the book "Khmer Wedding Rules", Oknha Vicheka wrote that in the ancient Khmer marriage law, people describe  Preah Vesna Borom Pursat song about the wedding between Chea Ly's children and some other songs about Preah Ream and Seda's wedding.
