What's the Best Way to do CPL Hour Building for Airline Pilot Hopefuls?

Since I'm an older flight student I wanted to make sure that I didn't waste any time during my CPL so that I could fast-track my way to getting my ATPL, and as such I needed to find a way to get the most bang out of my buck for hour building. After talking with a lot of pilots I found some really good strategies for hour building that allowed me to be really effective in terms of the hours I built so that my plan to become an airline pilot would be a bit more future-proof.
