This hardware news episode has several major topics of discussion, with Intel's progress in the 10nm and 7nm segments as the leading story. As the world makes progress with Extreme Ultra-Violet Lithography, 7nm becomes more viable for Intel to move beyond its DUV approach that it has become embattled with for 10nm.

Beyond this story, DRAM prices are looking at a decline into 1Q19, which is good news for the desktop DIY builder. Gaming monitor sales have also skyrocketed about 2x for 100Hz+ displays, largely driven by popularity of Battle Royale games like Fortnite and PUBG.
