In Maharashtra, an elderly man named Ashraf Ali Syed was assaulted on a train. Today, Imran Pratapgarhi, Chairman of the National Minority Department, visited him at the Sion Hospital in Mumbai to offer his support and assurance of all possible help. He demanded strict action against those responsible for the assault on Ashraf Ali Syed. Imran Pratapgarhi also met with the hospital dean, who informed him that Ashraf Ali Syed has sustained significant injuries and is under medical supervision.

During this visit, former guardian minister Aslam Sheikh, senior MLA Amin Patel, Mumbai Chairman of the Minority Department Ibrahim Bhai Jan, and in-charge Ahmed Khan were also present.
