How to Install WEATHER SHIELDS to your Vehicle || DIY Weather Shield Install

In this video I show you all of the steps necessary to fit aftermarket or genuine weather shields to your vehicle. Weather shields will some in a few different options that you need to be aware of. You can get tinder weather shields, clear weather shields, slimline weather shields and standard size weather shields. The weather shields are super easy to fit to the vehicle and the set of 4 can be installed in only a few minutes.


To install you weather shields follow these steps -
1. clean vehicle thoroughly and dry
2. use cleaning alcohol along areas were weather shields will be installed
3. test fit weather shields and see were they need to sit
4. remove 3m tape backing
5. fit weather shields to vehicle
6. fully seat weather shield to panel working way along trim
7. clean off any finger prints with microfiber towel
8. repeat steps for all weather shields
9. enjoy! Yay!


Fitting premium weather shields to your vehicle can be a cheap or easy upgrade. There are a few main reasons why I fitted weather shields.
1. to stop rain coming in the vehicle with windows down
2. to stop wind buffeting past the windows
3. to stop branches, sticks poking through windows
4. they look awesome!


By using some basic hand tools we are able to carry out the installation with easy. You can definitely carry out this job at home, even without any help.
