Back to basics fishing…a plain round reel…it works!

Graeme puts in a couple of short sessions between an overnighter for big fish….But this time he is using one of the basic designs of fishing reels…The Centrepin. Originally for use in rivers for running a float down to the fish it can also be used on Stillwater fishing for close to medium float fishing. Although it looks a simple circular design the super-sensitive way it revolves means you have to use it a few times to get the principle. He loads it with 6lb line and sets off with a variety of baits, hoping to get a bit of fishy action. He hits 2 different lakes for a couple of hours, catching from both, so sit back and enjoy a bit of Centrepin fishing with a float….and don’t forget to remember some of the tips…Its Friday night, and that’s a Totally Awesome night….
