Honestly, Series 9 and 10 are classics to me, some of the best seasons in the whole 60-year run of the show, I adore Capaldi's 12th Doctor, from his first scene in Deep Breath all the way to Twice Upon A Time he just understood exactly what character he was. I also love the companions from this era all are interesting and each feels unique and distinct.

Then series 8 exists which can get very messy with its constantly shifting quality, but it did give us Michelle Gomez as Missy (my favourite Master) and the whole era can get very dark with its tone, so much I'd say this era is not for Kids, and I think that worked.
