Welcome to the H1Z1 FPS Tutorial. Here I will give you tips on how to increase your FPS and how to edit your UserOptions.ini file.

Be sure to backup your config before doing anything. Just click the link, and then paste over your old config settings. Open your config - Erase everything - Copy and paste settings from link above into your config - Be sure to save as UserOptions.ini - Go outside in your front yard and spin around in circles, screaming, "BEEEESSS!!!" - Be sure file is in the H1Z1 directory and Read Only is checkedorino.

Don't be afraid to tinker with the config, to get your game to the point of where you are maximizing FPS, while enjoying the best quality that your system can handle. If it's backed up on your system, all you have to do is place the copy back into your H1Z1 directory. Easy peazy. If you forget to back it up, just delete the UserOptions.ini and you will get a new, default one.

Also, the resolution I have set in both files is 1920 x 1080. For EVEN MOAR FPS GAIN, you can try setting the resolution to 1600 x 900. It doesn't make a HOOOGE difference in the way the game looks while netting more gain.
