This is my piano version of the song “but not tonight”, written by Martin L Gore in 1986. The song was released as a B-side for the Depeche Mode single “Stripped”. The band's U.S. label Sire Records decided to use “But not tonight" on the soundtrack to the movie "Modern Girls" and included the song on US editions of the Depeche Mode album "Black Celebration”.
