📖 here are the recipe 📖

the chocolate cake layers:
1 3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
vanilla paste
1 cup butter milk
1 cup coffee (1 did a double shot + 3/4 cup warm water)

1. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the oil, eggs, and vanilla. Combine in the butter milk.
3. Pour the wet into the dry, along with the coffee. Whisk until fully combined.
4. Divide the batter into pans and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Cool completely.

the frosting:
8 oz cream cheese, room temp
3/4 cup powdered sugar
vanilla
1 1/2 cup heavy cream
red and green food coloring

1. Beat the cream cheese, vanilla, and salt together until there are no lumps. Beat in the powdered sugar until combined. With the mixer on, pour in the cream while whipping until it reaches soft peaks. Divide the frosting and color accordingly, whipping until stiff peaks form.
