The Willis Frame

Описание к видео The Willis Frame

This is a short video-essay examining the work of cinematographer, Gordon Willis. Willis' work was so unmistakable that irrespective of genre: comedy, drama, thriller, musical or gangster picture, his visual style defined such films as The Godfather, Manhattan and All The President's Men. So great was he, that he was regarded as a cinematograph-auteur.

It is part of a series of video-essays I am uploading for education purposes and is protected by the Fair Use part of the copyright law of the United States.
