We love a drive through the Derbyshire Dales with the wonderful views, but not on this drive, the gloomy weather restricts those views but it was a discovery trip for us checking out new roads so we can come back on a sunny day in the future.
Hartington is a lovely village in the Dales and a destination place as there are many walks in the area, it is very close to the Staffordshire border as the river Dove runs close by and that defines the border between the two counties.
