Beautiful Jewish Wedding in Brookline Massachusetts

Having spoken to Mitch and Sandy throughout the process of planning their wedding and specifically the photography, I knew I was in for a good day. They did not disappoint. It’s hard enough to plan a wedding, but to have to do it from three different states only adds to the difficulty. They were fortunate to have such great friends and family to help in the process. Especially Sandy’s brother who opened up his beautiful house for them to host the wedding. We started doing photography of them separately. There was such great lights and amazing window to do some interesting shots of the dress. Mitch was downstairs helping put the table settings together. They did their first look in the Italian garden. You could tell how anxious they were to see each other. We took some pictures of the family and bridal party in the open lawn. Everyone was genuinely having such a good time, it made my job easy. I truly enjoy photographing a Jewish wedding as there are so many interesting traditions and customs such as getting married under the hoopa, the breaking of the glass and the motzi. They’re both very much into the theater. It was such a great idea to name each of the tables by their favorite plays and put the seating chart arrangement as a ticket. The rest of the evening was filled with fun, laughter, and a great dance crowd. It was the perfect combination of the candidate, Photo journalistic imagery combined with some great portraits. I’m so glad I was able to be part of the day.
