This Memorial is ‘said’ to be very near the spot where Lawrence crashed his Motorbike.
The original tree he hit causing fatal injuries were approx 100 yards on, does not exist now.It were cut down years after in a road widening, levelling, And realignment scheme.

The other Stone Memorial, were he hit the tree after coming off his bike is shown in my other Lawrence of Arabia film.

Please except my apologies for the very off putting background traffic noise. Cars pass by within yards & sadly spoils any ambience one would would expect in the Memorial vicinity. It’s also located in a very busy, small car park for the Bovington Tank viewing area.
