Inspired by Konami's Track & Field and Hyper Sports. There are 4 different events in Ninja Master, and you have 3 attempts to achieve the qualifying target. You begin at white belt, and completing all 4 events begins the next loop with higher qualifying targets.

Event 1: Arrows are aimed at you from 4 different angles. Fend them off by diagonally moving the joystick in the appropriate direction. The faster they arrive the more points you score. There are 10 arrows.

Event 2: Waggle left and right rhythmically (not frantically) to gain sufficient power to chop the wood once the timer reaches zero.

Event 3: Shurikens are aimed at you from 3 different levels, at different speeds. Deflect them with your samurai sword. The faster ones score more points. There are 10 shurikens.

Event 4: Hit the canisters with your blow pipe as they float across the centre of the screen. Score either 160, 180, or 200 points depending on accuracy. There are 10 canisters.

The game wasn't well received, but it's not THAT bad, especially for £1.99. It's playable enough, and the speech is passable.

This video was edited to avoid showing all 3 attempts in every discipline in every loop, as that would become boring and repetitive to watch, especially since so many of them were failures. The congratulations / belt upgrade screen plays a 36 second tune which cannot be skipped, so that was edited too (once is enough to hear that in it's entirety!).
