THE BEST SAGA YET??!! Livi Listens: EPIC The Wisdom Saga

Please like and subscribe for more EPIC reactions + EPIC content! This is my reaction to the Wisdom Saga when it premiered on Jorge Rivera-Herrans's YouTube channel. Similarly, if not worse than the Thunder Saga, I will not be recovering until the next one comes out likely months from now lol. Hats off to everyone who lent their talents to making this thing possible, you all blew my expectations out of the water!

Well if you're still reading, here's my current ranking of all the EPIC sagas so far! I have a feeling knowing what's coming for us in the Vengeance Saga that it'll be my favorite overall, but this is how I rank them right now. Keep in mind that I love every single song in this musical a near immeasurable amount so not only are they all neck-in-neck with each other, but I still love the saga at the bottom to the ends of the earth and back.
1. Wisdom - Yes recency bias I know but I GENUINELY believe this one is the cast's best work so far! So many voices, so many moments where talent shines brightly, trauma, character development... right up my alley!
2. Underworld - This may be the shortest but it is by FAR the most pivotal one among the 7 so far. No Longer You is my 2nd or 3rd favorite song in the whole musical and has some excellent foreshadowing from both Tiresias and the chorus. Genuinely all 3 songs are among the best in the musical and The Underworld song has imo the best melodies in all the sagas so far.
3. Ocean - Bit of a personal attachment since I was among the crowd who waited nearly an entire year for this saga, but boy it was worth it. Steven Rodriguez's introduction as Poseidon was incredibly exciting and terrifying from an Odysseus fan's perspective, and I can't wait to hear more from him in the next saga. This saga also sets up many things to come in later parts of the show so it has a special place in my heart.
4. Circe - This one is interchangeable with the one below tbh because I just can't decide which one I like more. Talya Sindel has an enchanting yet powerful voice that could not be more perfect for Circe, and I found her portrayal in the musical to be quite sympathetic/likeable in a way that she sticks with you(and Odysseus) even after her one saga appearance is over.
5. Troy - You never forget the first. Open Arms, Just A Man, Warrior of the Mind... household names there. This was, of course, the saga that introduced me to EPIC, and it's held the test of time to still not end up at the bottom despite us getting many new shiny sagas to enjoy.
6. Thunder - This one should really just be called the Suffering Saga, because that's all I was doing after the end of it waiting for the next one. Despite knowing how it was likely going to end from having read the Odyssey, it still hurt. A lot. Maybe that's why it's so low on my list, but hey if this musical made me feel for the characters, then that means Jorge did his job, right?
7. Cyclops - Just to reiterate - this one being the very last does NOT mean I dislike it or think it's bad; it just has a LOT of competition. Remember Them was my favorite song for like half a year, and My Goodbye is still one of the best duets in the show. There's just been a lot more music to come out since this one was the only of two. And we can never forget about the Pancake himself Polites, right?
