Meet Tim Scarbrough, who has spent his life in service to others. After a 21-year military career, Tim worked with veterans suffering hardships for the Illinois Department of Employment Security. At the same time, he saw an opportunity to serve his community through farming. Scarbrough Farms has corn, soybeans, sheep, goats, honeybees and blueberries on a 17-acre farm in West Frankfort, Illinois, with plans to build two greenhouses and a hydroponics building to specialize in locally grown produce year-round and seasonal U-pick opportunities.
