While at Bartow, Amphibians Plus, David had a lengthy discussion with Chris and the other mechanics, and managed to get a good handle on the status of 46DT Mooney Ovation. I enjoyed chatting with a few of the people I know, and seeing Harry again is always good. After a few hours spent David and I departed KBOW on RWY 23 and opted for the RNAV 31 into Leesburg.
I am getting comfortable with the G1000 equipment but it takes some practice to get reoriented. The flight to home base was good with little traffic to be of concern on the way. David was happy to have spent the necessary time with the crew and as a result will get additional work done on the Mooney
