Hobi could easily pass as the 5th member of BTS's Vocal Line. Watch him seamlessly switch to falsetto like it was nothing.

Some may wonder what's so shocking about singers singing so beautifully, since it is expected of them. Well, the unique thing with Hobi's vocals is that he's part of the Rap Line. Who would expect someone with that sexy, raspy voice to also do sweet, dreamy vocals? That's just top-tier talent.

Hobi would give ARMY the VIP experience of his raw vocals during livestreams. And this is how Netflix Philippines found out about Hobi's cover of "Golden." Netflix Philippines couldn't help but repost this clip of Hobi on X. It attached a screenshot from a scene from "KPop Demon Hunters" and Hobi's guesting on "Chef & My Fridge." The account perfectly connected the part where "hope" was mentioned in the song. Whoever is handling the Netflix Philippines account deserves a raise!

Netflix PH fanboying/fangirling over Hobi's "Golden" cover is so relatable. His melodic rap and stable vocals set him apart from most performers. One of the songs that captured Hobi's melodic rap mixed with his singing voice was "For Youth." Hobi repeatedly said he wanted to be good at singing, but that's just him being a tough critic. The truth is that Hobi had impressive vocals from the beginning. And despite having a naturally deep raspy voice, Hobi could sing in high notes effortlessly.

Hobi NEEDS to drop a full song of his singing voice. Him singing while watching Billie Eilish's concert was a collab I didn't know I needed. Hobi is undoubtedly the ACE of K-pop. No wonder Netflix PH was swooning over him.
