Waqas also established a social enterprise, Chiragh, along with his roommate, which makes education and skills training accessible to the youth in his village. Waqas’ journey was made possible by the National Outreach Programme (NOP), that ensures no financial barriers hinder talented students from pursuing a world-class education.
