On November 26, 2014 Alex Jopson, a REALTOR® of Sutton Group West Coast Realty, held an event at 100 Braid St Studios entitled "Reasons We Love New Westminser." This event was held to draw attention to the businesses, clubs, parks and much much more that the City of New Westminster has to offer. Alex highlighted why many people have made New West home, and why many more should too. Many companies where showcased, such as Lofty Living, Brick and Mortar, Barley's Homebrewing, Steel and Oak Brewing, ReUp BBQ, Greens and Beans, and many more. Barry Waitt from City hall also came out and discussed the many changes coming to New West.
