AMAZING Realistic Octopus Swipe With A Stencil! 🐙 Deep Sea Fluid Painting

WOW. This octopus stencil turned out INCREDIBLE!

I love all things ocean, and today I’m making a cute little octopus deep in the ocean. Having seen a real octopus in the Caribbean, I’m trying to make it as realistic as possible!

The background is a straight pour using thin paints. Once it had been dry for about 2 weeks, I added the octopus on top!

My paint is all mixed with floetrol (~2:1 floetrol to paint) and thinned with water. Paint-mixing video is here!    • Mixing Paint for Acrylic Pouring - ST...  

Dark Navy (Blickrylic Phthalo Blue and Apple Barrel Black)
Phthalo Green (Blickrylic)
Metallic Teal (Blick Studio Acrylics)
“Blue” Chameleon Mica Powder (from Let’s Resin, mixed only with floetrol and water)
White (Sargent and Apple Barrel)
