Somewhere In The Multiverse I'm Starting Master League Instead Right Now | FC 25 | First Impressions

So here it is at last. This year's FIFA, albeit one rebranded and repackaged as 'FC'.

The AI image in the thumbnail is the best outcome from this prompt: 'Based on cover of EA FC 25, soccer player, Coventry City jersey, Master League, Pro Evolution Soccer cover image'. They all made me want to cry. And I had to use American terminology for the beautiful game, or - you can guess the handegg-themed outcome.

I liked FC 24 right enough. But that's all it was – 'liked'. There was no great love. I never pined for it when I hadn't played it in a while.

But I always felt that I could have loved it, with a bit more time and attention paid.

So in that spirit, I might be about to give FC 25 the first sustained play-through that I have given a non-PES game since... probably FIFA 20. Or FIFA 15. It seems I can only do this every 5 years.

In today's brief episode (because who needs another lengthy video about FC 25 on a day when there'll be 10,000 of them), my First Impressions, for what they're worth.

And after this? At the time of writing, I genuinely don't know. eFootball 4.0 reset all my progress on the My League career that was well underway. I could restart that.
