Barolo is a proud young horse of the Miller Ranch, belonging to the prestigious bloodline of GMC Black Velvet. Born on March 13, 2016, he is the offspring of the successful stallion GMC Black Velvet and the mare Arizona Outlaw’s Margarita M.R.
Training and Skills
Barolo has completed his training at the Miller Ranch and has proven himself to be the perfect trail horse. With extensive experience on various trails, he is versatile enough to lead or take any position in a group. Experienced riders appreciate his reliability, but beginners also find him easy to handle. Barolo lives up to his bloodline's reputation with his exceptional talent and calm demeanor.
Show Experience and Background
Although Barolo has yet to compete in shows, he feels right at home in the wilderness and on mountain trails. His father, GMC Black Velvet, was crowned World Grand Champion at the Missouri Fox Trotter World Championship in the USA in 1992. From 2001 to 2006, he dominated the European show scene, returning to the USA as a multiple European Champion. Barolo’s mother, Arizona Outlaw’s Margarita M.R., also showcased her talent at the Missouri Fox Trotter Show in Ava in 2014, securing 2nd place in the 4-Year-Old Open Class.
Character and Appearance
Barolo is a friendly and popular horse, standing at 14.1 hands with an impressive gait. His temperament is calm and steady; he is not easily spooked and remains curious and lovable. While he has not been specifically trained for shows, he is a true eye-catcher on any trail.
