There are many ways to propagate String of Hearts (aka Rosary Vine or Chain of Hearts), but in this video, I show you the most efficient way to propagate this delightful houseplant.

You can use this method both for "regular" string of hearts as well as variegated string of hearts. In fact, I show both in this video.

According to Kew Gardens, the accepted botanical name of String of Hearts is Ceropegia woodii.

To grow string of hearts, I like to use about 2 parts of this cactus mix and 1 part of 1/4" pumice. You can use any good cactus/succulent mix.

Sphagnum Moss

If you prefer using moss to propagate, I love using this brand of sphagnum moss. As I mentioned in the video, it will be less maintenance to start your cuttings in this moss, but keep in mind that you will later have to transfer them to soil.
