So today we got probably the biggest hazbin and Helluva boss news we’ve had in years. A couple highlights being helluva boss coming to Amazon prime video, a crossover between helluva and hazbin, along with a bunch of new merch lines.

There’s alot to go over, and understandably there’s questions fans might ask which I’ll try my best to explain here. I’ll give my personal thoughts towards the end as well. So in this video I’ll go over everything revealed at level up expo 2025. I hope you enjoy

So let’s start with the biggest announcement first. This was also uploaded on vivzie’s channel so I’ll have the footage rolling in the background.

Helluva boss is coming to prime video. Hazbin hotel is already on prime video but it’s exclusive. Helluva boss, both past and present will be coming to prime as well. The main thing being that it’ll be on YouTube as well and nothing to change. A similar thing happened with the digital circus. So it releases like normal on YouTube for free, but it also releases on Netflix. It’s completely optional and it’s pretty good for fans overall since they can choose which platform they want to watch it on. Helluva will operate in the same way. You can continue to watch future episodes on YouTube which I reckon most fans will, but you can also watch it on Amazon prime video. There’s not going to be any changes to the amount of episodes or when they release either.

An important disclaimer they include is that nothing will change and that viv will maintain full creative control. So this alleviates the concern that fans may have that Amazon will take over the show and ruin it basically. Viv is still in control and it’ll remain as normal which is great to hear.

From the way blitz explains it in the video, it seems like amazon is also supporting the animation and everything else. So maybe episodes will release at a faster rate, or the animation quality could improve as well. We’ll have to wait and see if thats the case, but overall it seems like a really great announcement.

Towards the end of the video we see a bunch of characters from both shows appear and we find out that a crossover is happening. Of course this is massive and is something fans have been asking for since the pilots of both shows aired. On one hand this could mean that future episodes of either show will include cameos of the characters. Or we could receive a spin off show, or potential shorts that are dedicated to seeing the characters meet. Obviously there’s a lot to theorise here and it’s awesome.

Moving on there were some other announcements made. The first is a new line of hot topic pride merch featuring hellaverse characters. It appears they’ll match their sexualities as well, which is great for fans wanting to rep their favourite characters. There’s a moe flavor verosika line. I checked online since i hadn’t heard of this before but moe flavor is a japanese product line of clothes. So it appears that we’ll be getting more verosika merch.

We’re getting some thing merchandise which is neat.

And lastly the rest of the state of hellaverse panel was the voice actors discussing the shows and why they love it so much.

So overall a really eventful first day of lvlup con. I’ve seen some fans a bit disappointed or worried especially on reddit and I just wanna say everything is going to be alright. I know people were expecting a new trailer for season 2 of hazbin, but i think the announcement of a crossover is just as good. There’s 2 more days of panels so we could find out more info in them as well.
