Superb Saints knock out in form Rangers

A superb first half showing helped St. Johnstone knock Mark Warburton's in form Rangers side out of the Scottish League Cup. Murray Davidson put the visitors ahead on his first match since returning from injury before Simon Lappin doubled Saints' advantage with an excellent finish from the edge of the area. Michael O'Halloran made it three before James Tavernier pulled one back for the hosts.
