In this episode from Periscope (@jonathanjk) I sit down with Gregory Rivers, an Australian who is now a local Hong Kong TV personality. Rivers has lived in Hong Kong for around 30 years since arriving in 1987.

We start talking about the errors in Rivers’ wikipedia page, his time spent learning Cantonese and issues using it for work, Yale University vs Hong Kong University when it comes to producing accurate Hong Kong language books. Gregory shares his earliest days working as an actor; the pressure of his first job, the various roles he’s been in over the years, dealing with his fame on the street and not taking it too seriously.
