Years change, names change but the situation of Gurugram hasn't changed. This city gets hit by floods every monsoon. Then pictures come, it is seen that roads are submerged, cars start crawling, traffic jams are there for hours, people are troubled. Similar scenes were witnessed this time too. Now the question is whether the problem is of rain or the planning of the city or the drainage system which fails again and again. The question is also that why does Gurugram sink and why doesn't Noida? To talk about this, Dr P S N Rao ji who is the Dean of School of Planning and Architecture is present with us. साल बदले, नाम बदले लेकिन गुरुग्राम के हालात नहीं बदले। ये शहर हर मानसून में बाढ़ की चपेट में आ जाता है। फिर तस्वीरें आती हैं, दिखता है कि सड़कें डूब गईं, कारें रेंगने लगीं, घंटों ट्रैफिक जाम लग गया, लोग परेशान हो गए। इस बार भी कुछ ऐसा ही नजारा देखने को मिला। अब सवाल यह है कि समस्या बारिश की है या शहर की प्लानिंग की या ड्रेनेज सिस्टम की जो बार-बार फेल होता है। सवाल तो ये भी है कि गुरुग्राम क्यों डूबता है और नोएडा क्यों नहीं? इसी बार बात करने के लिए हमारे साथ Dr P S N Rao जी मौजूद हैं जो School of Planning and Architecture के डीन हैं।
