Alexander Zverev, who surprisingly lost in the pre-quarter final stages at Madrid Masters, is looking to bounce back at this week's Rome Masters.

The German, who like other players will use the on-court time in Rome as precious tune-up for the second Grand Slam of the season - the French Open.

Zverev admittedly, was in the form of his life on clay when he played Rafa Nadal in the semifinal in 2022 at Roland Garros. But an ankle injury during the match cut short his progress and knocked him out of tennis for more than six months.

The German is hoping he will get a rematch against the greatest player ever on clay, Rafa Nadal, as the Spaniard winds up his career this season.
