EVEREST BASE CAMP TREK DAY 7 | Dingboche - Lobuche

I WENT TO EVEREST BASE CAMP!

Finally got this one ticked off my bucket list! My group and I went to Everest Base Camp in May last year and aside from Day 1 which was cold due to rain the previous day, the weather for most of the remaining part of the trek was pretty manageable and pleasant (except the last day).

Day 7 saw us trekking along the river from Khumbu glacier, across it, and then finally upwards towards Thukla Pass where we spent some time in reflection and looking at the memorials of the people who lost their lives in the Himalayas. We ended at Lobuche just when it started snowing. Our total elevation gain today was 500m.
