When corn tillers enter the equation, we see some blurred lines between our three different plant densities - 10,000, 17,000, and 24,000 plants per acre!

Tillers provide a significant and impressive amount of biomass to our corn plants, allowing 10,000 plants per acre to compete with 24,000 plants per acre. We've seen this compensation ability in several locations over the last three years - both for biomass (above-ground plant material) and for grain yields!
