Toronto father, son accused of terrorist activities in the GTA make court appearance

A father and son from Toronto accused of planning a “serious violent attack” in the city for ISIS appeared in court Thursday.

Mostafa Eldidi, 26, and his father, Ahmed Fouad Mostafa Eldidi, 62, are facing six terror-related charges in connection with the alleged plot.

The suspects made their court appearance virtually and both were remanded into custody until their next court date on Aug. 7.
