Peach Cobbler in Appalachia

Описание к видео Peach Cobbler in Appalachia

One of my favorite desserts growing up was the fruit cobblers that Granny made. Peach cobbler is hands down my favorite. In this video I share the easiest cobbler recipe, its very common so you probably already have the recipe!

Peach Cobbler
1 stick butter (1/2 cup butter)
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
2 cups peaches (if using frozen or fresh peaches cook with 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar for about 10 minutes)

Melt butter in baking dish in oven while it preheats to 350 degrees.
Pour peaches in baking dish with melted butter (or you can wait to spoon peaches on top of batter)
Mix flour, sugar, and milk together and pour over peaches (or spoon peaches on top of batter)
Do not stir mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30-35 minutes or till done. Crust will be golden brown.
Serve with a scoop of ice cream.
