I have experience in grades K to 8th teaching the students’ general music and introductory concepts based on state standards. I also have experience as a private teacher where I teach piano, guitar, violin, flute, bass and drums.

My main focus in the classroom is toward activities that will expose children to music principles and lead them to musical performance. I combine teaching techniques, experience and standards to provide the student with a fun environment giving them the opportunity to learn music by integration and participation. I have developed choirs and music ensembles using recorder, hand bells and drum circle teams.
