जम्मू कश्मीर में आज विधान सभा चुनाव का पहला चरण है । साथ ही ये जम्मू कश्मीर का पहला विधान सभा चुनाव भी है । जम्मू कश्मीर में 10 साल के बाद चुनाव हो रहा है जिसके कारण काफी कड़ी सुरक्षा का इंतजाम किया गया है ।चुनाव के पहले चरण में 24 सीटों पर 219 उम्मीदवार हैं । जम्मू कश्मीर में सुबह से हीं मतदान की प्रक्रिया चल रही है । 11 बजे से अभी तक 26 फीसदी मतदान हो चुका है ।
