Hi, our home is being foreclosed on in early June 2024, so we must move out prior to the sale. Where do we go? Where will we live?

Please pray that God would provide a good Samaritan to help with somewhere to live (hopefully free of charge until we can afford to pay for it).

The Olney Hymns are a collection of hymns written by John Newton and William Cowper. They resemble the Psalms for their honesty about life and God.

God Moves in a Mysterious Way was written by William Cowper in 1774. Here are the lyrics:

God moves in a mysterious way
His wonders to perform;
He plants His footsteps in the sea
and rides upon the storm.

Deep in unfathomable mines
of never-failing skill;
He treasures up His bright designs,
and works His sov'reign will.

Chorus:
God of mercy, God of grace, give us eyes to see;
eyes to see Your smiling face within the mystery.

Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take;
the clouds ye so much dread
are big with mercy and shall break
in blessings on your head.

Judge not the Lord by feeble sense,
but trust Him for His grace;
behind a frowning providence
He hides a smiling face. (chorus)

His purposes will ripen fast,
unfolding every hour;
the bud may have a bitter taste,
but sweet will be the flow'r.

Blind unbelief is sure to err,
and scan His work in vain;
God is His own interpreter,
and He will make it plain. (chorus)
