Chess mated with Carrom resulting in Standard Rules K-Chess (Kinematic Chess) or "SRK-Chess", is an action board game involving two teams of playing pieces in which a win constitutes gaining the advantage on the opponents home zone, or otherwise defending your own home zone against the opponent. If you like the Carrom board game, and Chess, this is a kind of cross between those games.

The term "chess" does not historically just refer to the modern game known as "Chess", but has historically referred to multiple things including military situations such as strategy, besides reference to a "king" or taking the king - in the case of K-Chess it has to do with taking the opponents home zone on the field.

If you think this looks easy, you've not played it seriously, it requires not only shooting skill of the pieces (which can either set you in a better or worse position), but requires resource strategy with each move, and determination of offensive versus defensive moves. Moreover, K-Chess default rules, can also be modified with additional rules, such as varying weight pieces or abilities (besides the standard flat disks or flat stones), thus is very flexible and can go where you imagine it.
