চার দিনের সফরে কাতারে পৌঁছেছেন প্রধান উপদেষ্টা অধ্যাপক ড. মুহাম্মদ ইউনূস। সোমবার, স্থানীয় সময় রাত ৯টা ৪০ মিনিটে দোহার হামাদ আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে অবতরণ করেন তিনি।সামাজিক যোগাযোগ মাধ্যমে প্রধান উপদেষ্টার প্রেস সচিব শফিকুল আলম জানান, বিমানবন্দরে পৌঁছালে ড. ইউনূসকে লাল গালিচা সংবর্ধনা দেয়া হয়। কাতার সরকারের প্রটোকল প্রধান ও রাষ্ট্রদূত ইব্রাহিম ফাখরু তাকে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে স্বাগত জানান।এর আগে, সোমবার সন্ধ্যা ৭টায় বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্সের একটি ফ্লাইটে হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দর থেকে কাতারের উদ্দেশে রওনা হন প্রধান উপদেষ্টা।কাতারে ‘আর্থনা সামিট ২০২৫’-এ অংশগ্রহণ করবেন তিনি।প্রেস উইং জানায়, কাতারের আমির শেখ তামিম বিন হামাদ আল-থানির আমন্ত্রণে ড. মুহাম্মদ ইউনূস এ সফরে গিয়েছেন।সামিটে অংশ নেয়ার পাশাপাশি কাতারের আমিরের সাথে প্রধান উপদেষ্টার বৈঠক হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে।

Principal Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has arrived in Qatar on a four-day visit. He landed at Doha's Hamad International Airport at 9:40 pm local time on Monday. The Principal Advisor's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said on social media that upon arrival at the airport, Dr. Yunus was given a red carpet welcome. The Qatari government's Chief of Protocol and Ambassador Ibrahim Fakhru officially welcomed him. Earlier, the Principal Advisor left for Qatar from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight at 7 pm on Monday. He will participate in the 'Arthana Summit 2025' in Qatar. The Press Wing said that Dr. Muhammad Yunus went on this visit at the invitation of the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. In addition to participating in the summit, there is a possibility that the Principal Advisor will meet the Emir of Qatar.
